What is second opinion?

Getting a second opinion means having another medical specialist, or a team of medical specialists, review all of your medical reports and test results, give an opinion about your diagnosis, and suggest treatment options. A second opinion may confirm your original doctor’s diagnosis and treatment plan, raise additional treatment options you hadn’t considered, or recommend a different course of action.

What do I need to get a second opinion?

Be prepared to provide your previous medical or surgical history. If you have them and if they are relevant share your scans/MRI/X-Ray reports, and list of medication. Sharing old reports might be useful in better interpretation of your condition and progression of your disease.
